LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher is a launcher app with live and near-live satellite imagery, Earth views, cloud and weather layers, map exploration, wallpapers, and related customization tools. If you choose to set LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher as your default launcher, your home screen and related launcher settings may change. Your installed apps, photos, and other personal files remain on your device. You can adjust your default home app preference at any time in your device settings.
1Introduction
LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher is designed to provide satellite imagery, Earth views, cloud and weather layers, map exploration, saved locations, wallpapers, widgets, and launcher-related features. This Privacy Policy describes what information the app may access or process, how that information may be used, and what choices are available to you.
2Data Collection
LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher may access or process the following categories of information when required for available app features:
- approximate or precise location used to center satellite, weather, and map views on your area when you enable location-based imagery;
- searches, saved places, favorite locations, and view history you enter or save in the app;
- imagery layer, wallpaper, widget, notification, and other app preferences and settings;
- images, screenshots, or wallpapers you choose to save or export from the app;
- device and app information such as app version, operating system version, language, screen orientation, display resolution, network state, and technical diagnostics;
- limited connection, advertising, attribution, crash, or analytics information if online services or advertising components are included in the app version you use;
- support information you choose to provide, such as messages, screenshots, or email content.
Because satellite, weather, and map content is delivered by online services, the app requests internet and network state access. The app may also request location access for local imagery and forecasts, photos or media access for saving wallpapers and screenshots, notification access, launcher-related access, wallpaper access, overlay presentation access, and phone-state-related compatibility access where those features are supported in the app version you use.
3Data Use
Information accessed or processed by LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher may be used to:
- load, display, and refresh satellite, Earth, cloud, weather, and map layers;
- center imagery, layers, and forecasts on your chosen or current location;
- display launcher pages, widgets, wallpaper features, search features, and supported default-home functionality if you choose to use them;
- save preferences, recent state, saved locations, widget settings, notification choices, and other app settings;
- improve compatibility, performance, stability, diagnostics, security, and user support;
- support advertising, attribution, analytics, update checks, or crash reporting if such services are included in the distributed app version.
We do not sell personal or sensitive personal data.
4Data Processing and Storage
Imagery, layer, and map requests are primarily handled on your device and through the online content providers that supply satellite, weather, and map data. Local settings, saved locations, widget preferences, cached imagery, and similar app data may remain on your device until you clear app data, delete the relevant content, reset the related settings, or remove the app.
If third-party advertising, attribution, analytics, or crash-reporting services are included in the app version you use, those providers may receive limited technical or identifier information and may retain that information according to their own retention policies and legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information handled through the app. Data sent to service providers, if any, should be handled using modern security protections such as HTTPS or similar safeguards.
5Third-Party Services
LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher may include third-party services for satellite imagery, weather data, map rendering, app distribution, advertising, attribution, analytics, crash reporting, infrastructure, or support. Based on the reviewed app bundle, such services may include Google Play related services, one or more imagery or map data providers, and one or more advertising or measurement SDKs used by the distributed app version.
These third-party services may process limited device, app, usage, location, advertising, attribution, or diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies and imagery terms of use. You should review platform disclosures and any third-party notices that appear in the app or store listing.
6User Rights and Data Deletion
You can manage app permissions through your device settings, including permissions related to location, photos or media, notifications, wallpaper, and default-home or launcher choices where supported by Android.
You can delete locally stored app data, including settings, saved locations, cached imagery, and similar local records, by clearing the app data in your device settings or by removing the app from your device. You can also delete saved wallpapers and exported images directly from your device storage if you no longer want to keep them.
If you contact us with a privacy request, please email [email protected] and include enough detail for us to understand your request. If the app does not provide account creation, account deletion is not required because no app account is created by LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher.
7Children's Privacy
LiveEarth: Satellite Launcher is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
